The Whitman Public Library offers more than just books! Our Beyond Books collection lets you borrow a variety of hands-on, engaging items to learn, play, and explore.

Check out:

  • Puzzles & Games – Perfect for family game nights or solo brain-boosting fun.

  • Toy Kits – Encourage creativity and learning with hands-on play.

  • Tonies – Interactive audio storytelling for kids, combining screen-free fun with imaginative adventures.

  • WiFi Hotspots – Stay connected on the go with free internet access. Learn more about Whitman’s Hotspot Policy and complete the Hotspot Lending Agreement.

The details:

  • Items are available to any OCLN cardholder with a valid library card in good standing.

  • Items can be checked out for 14 days and can be renewed 1 time if there are no holds on the item

  • Items must be returned to the library’s main circulation desk. These items cannot be returned in the library’s book drop and cannot be sent through OCLN’s interlibrary delivery service. 

  • All items must be returned in the condition in which they were checked out. Patrons may be charged for damage or loss.
