Museum Passes

  • Museum passes are available to both residents and non-residents of Whitman who have an OCLN library card in good standing or a valid library card from their town of residence. Persons who do not own a valid library card may not borrow museum passes.

  • Only Whitman residents may reserve passes in advance. Non-residents may not make advance reservations, but may obtain passes on the day of actual use if the pass is still available. Passes may only be reserved and obtained in person. No phone reservations will be accepted.

  • User must bring with them a valid library card when reserving a pass. A user fee of $2.00 will be charged when a pass is reserved. This fee helps defray the cost of yearly group memberships for museum passes. Patrons must cancel 48 hours in advance to receive a refund.

  • Passes may be reserved by and charged out to card holders over the age of 14.

  • Passes are limited to one per family per day.

  • The same pass may not be reserved for two consecutive days.

  • Unless a pass is a paper ticket, it must be returned to the Whitman Public Library by 10:30 AM the first business day after use. Failure to return passes on time will result in a fine of $5.00 per day. If the Library is closed, the pass must be returned in the bookdrop in an envelope.

  • • Admission and other details about each pass may vary from the posted information. The Whitman Public Library will make an attempt to have updated information, but be sure to check with individual museums for any changes. The Whitman Public Library is not responsible for any inconvenience resulting from policies changed by the individual museums.
