Trustees. The library is governed by the Board of Library Trustees.
There are six members on the Board. Each is elected for a three year

The Trustees meet at the
library on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. Meetings
are open and the public is welcome to attend.
The Friends of the Whitman Public Library is a volunteer organization that promotes, advocates for, and supports the Library. Membership is open to any person interested in the purpose of this organization, upon payment of dues. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Community Room at the Library.
